Vibratory arthropathy due to recurrent use of vibrating tools. Presents with Raynaud syndrome with or without bone changes. Bone changes are thought to be due to microfractures filling with synovial fluid to form cysts.
PLAIN FILM
• Mild cystic change in the carpal bones (occasionally other areas)
• Carpal bone fragmentation with continued exposure to vibration
