Radiologically, this disease is the mimic of mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB).
The bowel can be involved in 75% of infections.
CT
• Thickening of the ascending colon and terminal ileum.
• Annular strictures in chronic disease.
• Low-attenuation retroperitoneal and mesenteric nodes are common.
