Affects up to 15% of people with hereditary haemorrhagic telangiectasia (Osler-Weber-Rendu syndrome). Patients may present with orthodeoxia (postural hypoxaemia accompanied by breathlessness) or stroke due to paradoxical emboli.
• Well-defined, lobulated nodules with a feeding artery and draining vein
• May contain phleboliths
• Most are unilateral and two-thirds are in the lower lobes.
