Tends to present with slowly growing lymph nodes and B symptoms (i.e. fever, night sweats, weight loss).
Far more common than Hodgkin lymphoma.
About three-quarters in the thorax are diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).
Plain film
• Classic appearance is hilar or mediastinal lymph node enlargement with a pleural effusion.
CT
• Pattern of lymph node enlargement varies with lymphoma subtype (e.g. in DLBCL, prevascular/pretracheal nodes are most commonly affected).
• May present with miliary nodules.
