The clinical triad is urethritis, conjunctivitis and mucocutaneous lesions. Plantar fasciitis is characteristic but not pathognomonic.
• Sacroiliitis is usually bilateral and asymmetrical, and it often persists.
• Periarticular osteoporosis, reduced joint space, erosions and new bone formation.
• Hallux and metatarsophalangeal joints particularly.
• Subluxation and deformity of metatarsophalangeal joints.
• Enthesopathy.
