Protocol: 100 ml IV iodinated contrast (5ml/s) administered. Images taken
with bolus tracking technique
Report:
Aortic arch is normal in caliber. No evidence of aneurysms or thrombosis.
Type I aortic arch is noted. Normal branching pattern is noted from the arch of the aorta.
Major branches of the aortic arch are normally opacified. No evidence of luminal stenosis or irregularity at their origins.
B/L common carotid, Internal carotid, External carotid and vertebral arteries are normal in caliber and are well opacified.
No evidence of plaques or luminal thrombi.
