This is the second most common splanchnic aneurysm due to atherosclerosis, trauma or infection. In total, 60% are symptomatic with right upper quadrant pain, GI haemorrhage and obstructive jaundice being most common.
CT
• May have curvilinear calcifications
• Usually extrahepatic (20% intrahepatic)
• Intense enhancement if not thrombosed
