US
- Solid, hypoechoic lesions
CT
- Multiple slow-growing, peripheral, low-density foci that may coalesce.
- Punctuate calcification.
- Prominent rim enhancement with contrast (‘halo sign’).
- There may be capsular retraction adjacent to a nodule.
MRI
- Lesions are non-specific, low signal on T1, high on T2.
