More common in children aged less than 5 years, mostly found in the lateral ventricles adjacent to the trigone. CSF production is increased, resulting in hydrocephalus. These are benign tumours; it can demonstrate drop metastases to the spine
however, up to 20% become malignant.

• Smooth, lobulated, iso-hyperdense mass with(‘frond-like’) with punctate calcification
• homogeneous Intense enhancement with contrast
• predominantly intermediate and heterogeneous on both T1 and T2, avid contrast enhancement
