Inherited by autosomal dominance; 100% of patients develop colonic polyps.
PLAIN FILM
• Review the bones—osteoma may develop; these are specific to Gardener syndrome and are more common in the mandible and calvarium.
CT
• Ill-defined mesenteric fibrosis or a focal enhancing mesenteric mass (i.e. desmoid tumour).• Duodenal polyps are most common.• Gastric hamartoma.• Associated with periampullary carcinoma.
