A 12 years old female, mentally retarded, known to have hydrocephalus with VP shunt.
Radiological Findings
Plain brain CT: Full-thickness CSF-filled parenchymal cleft at the right parietal region lined by the gray matter, extending from the right lateral ventricle to the right subarachnoid space with absence of the septum
pellucidum and ventricular wall with an abnormal shape of the lateral ventricles.
Diagnosis:
Open lip schizencephaly
